The objective of The Lexico Project is to try to make sense of topical, interesting or ambiguous phrases by engaging with foreign languages through a procedure called the lexico-posotional method.
The procedure works like this:
Step 1: a topical, interesting or ambigous phrase is selected from the english language
Step 2: the key nouns in that phrase are located in an english dictionary
Step 3. the dimensional position of those words are calculated as ratios of the total
dimensions of the dictionary
Step 4: using dictionaries of the top 20 official languages of the world, the same positions are
found and the corresponding words in these positions are noted
Step 5: these new words are assigned appropriate prepositions and listed in rank order by size of official language population
