Disability and Dyslexia support

Disability Services aim to empower and support disabled students throughout their time at Roehampton. We can communicate with your academic school, make exam arrangements, and help you apply for the Disabled Students' Allowance. We have a team of Tutors and Learning Support Assistants who can work with disabled students individually or in workshops.

         In order to get support at university you need to have evidence of your Dyslexia / SpLD diagnosis.  This is usually:

•         A diagnostic assessment report written by an Educational Psychologist or specialist assessor;

•         The report needs to have been written after your 16th birthday

           If you already have a report, please apply for your DSA funding now!  DSA application forms can be found here.

           Once your funding has been approved by Student Finance England, you will be apply to set up a needs assessment.

        If you think you may be dyslexic, we will be assessing students again from September.
