Student Disciplinary Regulations

Roehampton University is proud of its diverse community and is keen to protect its reputation and the rights of others. The University has implemented a series of codes and regulations to govern students' behaviour and conduct, both academic and non-academic. ;New Student Disciplinary Regulations were introduced in January 2008 which define academic offences and the procedure for dealing with them. All students should be familiar with the Disciplinary Regulations and should read them in conjunction with the following documents:

  • University Code of Conduct - this sets out standards of non-academic behaviour and conduct expected of students
  • Student Complaints Procedure Guide - this sets out the procedure for students wishing to make a complaint to the University about a Programme, a member of staff or another student
  • Academic Regulations - including how to appeal against an academic decision

The University will deal with complaints about and by students seriously and fairly and within a reasonable timescale. Any queries about any of these procedures and regulations should be directed to Andrew Skinner, Deputy University Secretary (Governance).
