The University expects all deadlines for the submission of coursework to be met, and all examinations to be attended. If you have genuine circumstances identified as severe and/or unavoidable which have prevented you from fulfilling the University's expectations you may put forward a case for consideration of mitigating circumstances prior to the assessment. Please read the Mitigating Circumstances policy for more information.
If you wish to put forward a case for mitigating circumstances you must complete a mitigating circumstances form via the online Mitigating Circumstances Portal. All requests must be printed and submitted to your Department Office in order for them to be considered.
Department offices are open Monday to Friday 10.00-15.00.
