Students who have questions or concerns about their own wellbeing, and anyone concerned about the wellbeing of students, can use the drop-in facility in the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart College, on Wednesday afternoons in term time from 2pm to 4pm. The drop-in facility is intended for brief, informal and confidential discussions with the University’s Health and Wellbeing Adviser. These brief discussions may be all that is needed: If further support or help is required the Adviser will assist you to access other services. No appointments are needed for the drop-in; just turn up at the Information Centre reception. It is run on a first come first served basis (so coming early is best).
If you think you would benefit from seeing the Adviser outside of the drop-in facility, please first contact your Student Welfare Officer, Chaplain, Warden or academic/pastoral tutor who can refer you to the Adviser if appropriate. The Students’ Union Welfare Officer can also assist with a referral to the Adviser. Requests for University counselling can be made at the Information Centre reception or by email to health&wellbeing@roehampton.ac.uk.
Here are some useful telephone numbers and sources of out of hours information and support.
