Student Welfare Officers

Each of the four Colleges has their own Student Welfare Officer (SWO). Student Welfare Officers provide pastoral support and advice to students. They are also responsible for issuing student parking permits. SWOs can:

  • offer support in managing your finances. For help with budgets, you can also contact
  • help you with personal problems or suggest options for support within the University - for example the Health and Wellbeing Adviser or your Chaplain - or elsewhere.
  • help you to find out how to make a complaint about University services or an individual here.

If you have questions or concerns related to your studies, there are several people you can ask for advice, including your SWO, your Personal Tutor or your School Academic Advisor.

Contact the SWO for the college you are registered with unless you are living at a different college in which case contact the SWO for the College where you are living.
