The Media Centre offers assistance and advice to staff and students who wish to use a variety of graphics, desktop publishing, media software and hardware in connection with their course work.

A range of services are available:

• Colour photocopying up to A3
• Colour laser printing up to A3
• Colour inkjet printing up to A1
• Print to print direct from photographs
• Printing from 35mm negatives and slides
• Printing from digital camera storage media, compact flash, memory stick, CD, Smartmedia cards
• Downloading images from digital cameras
• Writing (burning) files to CD, data and images
• Converting video to digital files for use in presentations etc.
• Laminating up to a maximum of 600mm wide
• Comb and thermal binding
• OHP transparencies
• National and international fax service
• PCs running Photoshop CS3, Publisher, and Movie Maker editing software are available networked to a colour printer
• Staff are available to give help and advice on DTP, graphics, multi-media and scanning software.
• Digital cameras, camcorders and audio recorders can be loaned on ID card for up to 3 days, subject to availability.
