Changing your personal information
How do I change my contact details?
You can change your contact address details on your MyZone site. Please note that changes can take up to 7 days to appear on your student record.
How do I change my name?
You will need to print out and complete an SR7 form. Take the completed form and the original supporting paperwork to the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart college.
Changing your academic information
How do I change my modules?
If you want to change, add or delete a module/s please contact your Department Office. Your Department Office will be able to make the change to your academic record. For contact information see your subject information page.
How do I change my programme of study?
Please note - Undergraduate Students are not allowed to change programme 3 weeks after the start of the Autumn term.
Please be aware that all your current Modules and Timetable selection will be deleted from your record when you change your programme, even if you are only changing part of a combined programme.
If you have been programme terminated you must complete an SR9 form and not an SR2 form.
- Print out and complete an SR2 form
- Take the form to the Programme Convener/s. The form must be signed by the Convener of the programme you are leaving and by the Convener of the programme you wish to join.
- Deliver the signed form to the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart college. When Registry have actioned the SR2 form you will receive notification to your Roehampton student email account
- On receipt of the notification email , go to your Department Office or Programme Convener/s to choose your new module and timetable selection for your new course/s.
Please note: The SR2 form will not be actioned without the Convener/s signature as authorisation. Any incomplete forms delivered to the Information centre will be dispatched to the Convener for signature and will not be actioned until it is returned to Registry and therefore will be subject to delay.
How do I change my mode of study?
Overseas students cannot change to part time.
If you wish to change
from full time to part-time or vice versa you will need to:
- Print out an SR4 form
- Take the form to your Programme Convener for agreement and signature
- Deliver the signed form to the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart college. When Registry have actioned the SR4 form you will receive notification to your Roehampton student email account
- On receipt of the notification email , go to your Department Office or Programme Convener/s to choose your new module and timetable selection.
Please note: Full time students must have120 new credits on their record for the academic year, and part time students must not select more than 80 new credits in an academic year.
Overseas students cannot be part time.
How do I interrupt my study?
Overseas students can only interrupt for the whole academic year. Requests to interrupt for part of the academic year will not be accepted and will be returned to the student.
- Print out an SR5
- Complete the form with your interruption dates
- Take the form to your Programme Convener for agreement and signature.
- Deliver the signed form to the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart college.
Please note: you can cannot interrupt for longer than one academic year. For further information see Academic Regulations
All students on a Primary Education Teacher Training programmes, or a PCGE, are required to complete a new Declaration of Health form, before being invited to re-enrol after a period of interruption.
Print out and return a completed Declaration of Health form to Registry, Erasmus House, Roehampton Lane, London, SW15 5PU. Please note the DoH will be assessed by the University’s Medical Centre before you can proceed with enrolment. It is therefore essential that you return a completed form at least 1 month before the start of the Autumn or Spring term depending on when your interruption period ends.
How do I withdraw from Roehampton University?
- Print out an SR8
- Complete the form with your reason for leaving
- Take the form to your Programme Convener for agreement and signature
- Deliver the signed form to the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart
How do I change the college I am assigned to?
- Print out an SR18
- Complete the form
- Take the form to the College Principal for signature of the College you wish to leave
- Take the form to the College Principal for signature of the College you wish to join
- Deliver the signed form to the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart college.
For Postgraduate Students only
Change of Qualification Aim within the same programme of Study.
This form should be completed when you wish to change your qualification aim of your target award (e.g. from a Postgraduate Diploma in Ballet Studies to an MA in Ballet Studies or from an MA in Ballet studies to a Postgraduate Diploma in Ballet studies)
- Print out and complete the SR10 form
- Discuss the change of qualification aim you wish to make with your Programme Convener and complete the SR10 form
- Get your Programme Convener to sign the changes you have agreed
- Deliver the signed form to the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart college.
- You will be expected to enrol for this new qualification aim. Enrolment details will be emailed to you.
Enrolling for an additional programme of study - Current Postgraduate students only
- Print out and complete the SR11 form
- Get your Programme Convener to sign the form.
- Deliver the signed form to the Information Centre, Richardson Building, Digby Stuart college, or post to Registry, Erasmus House, Roehampton University, Roehampton Lane, London , SE15 5PU.
- You will be expected to pay your tuition fee liability (where applicable ) for this additional programme. The finance department will contact you with details of your fee liability(where applicable). Once your fees have been approved by the finance department your student record will be updated to fully enrolled status for the additional programme.
What happens after I submit my changes?
When the changes have been processed by Registry your academic profile in MyZone will be updated.
Please note: these changes will not be processed without the Programme Convener's signature.
