Security Service

My name is Paul Markham-James and I am your Head of Security at Roehampton University.

By putting our students and staff well-being first and delivering excellent service we aim to provide an outstanding Security Service.

Security provides a round the clock service for the safety and reassurance of everyone in Roehampton University. Our main function is to ensure, as far as is possible, the personal safety of students, staff and visitors; the security of University buildings and the protection of personal property.

Our other services include:

• Foot and mobile security patrols

• CCTV, fire and intruder alarm monitoring 

• Key holding and alarm response services

• Car parking enforcement 

• Liaison with emergency services at incidents

• Talks to staff and students on security, car parking and/or personal safety

• Risk management and business continuity advice
