Bookshop

Waterstones is Roehampton University’s bookshop and online supplier for the 2009/10 academic year.

The bookshop is staffed by experienced academic booksellers from Waterstones Gower Street. Established in 1936, the Gower Street shop is Europe’s largest specialist bookshop with 165,000 titles and 5 miles of shelving.

Second-hand books are available and a full buyback service is run from the Gower Street shop.

Location

Waterstones is trading from the old Turners Bookshop unit in the Richardson Building, Digby Stuart College on the University's Main Site. Find it on the Campus maps.

Opening times

The bookshop is open from Monday 14 September until just before Christmas and then it will re-open again for around six weeks in January.

Opening hours are

Mon – Fri   0930 – 1800

Sat            1000 – 1400

Sun           CLOSED

Discounts

Waterstones is offering a 10% discount off all books during the first four weeks. (14 September – 9 October). This offer is available to students and staff. For the rest of the time Waterstones is on campus it will offer a 15% discount off the top 100 selling academic titles.

Lecturers and administration staff are able to sign up for a Discount Card that gives 10% off at any branch of Waterstones.

Loyalty Card

Everyone can sign up for the Waterstones Loyalty Card, which can be used in any branch and also on the Waterstones website.

You can buy sweets, snacks, hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, bread, milk and other basic groceries. In addition there is a selection of toiletries, medical and stationary items available including stamps.
