TRV Replacement Project Update

The new Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRV) will enable you to regulate the heat expelled from the radiators in your office/room.

They will also help the University to reduce our energy consumption.

As of Monday 13thAugust 2012, the Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRV) have been fitted in the following buildings:

  • Hirst
  • Fincham
  • Library
  • Erasmus
  • Bede

The TRV's are currently still being fitted in Newman.

The TRV's still needing to be fitted in Howard.

The work in Howard will start on Monday 20th August 2012.

Access will be required to all radiators but should not cause any inconvenience to you.

Once all TRV's have gone through their final commissioning process the caps will be placed on top. This will require access to all radiators and should only take 1 minute to fit.

This will start to happen at the end of August.
