Moodle Upgrade August 28 and 29

As part of the preparations for the next academic year, the Moodle system will not be available during the following period:

• Tuesday 28 August to
• Wednesday 29 August

The Moodle system is being upgraded. Actions being undertaken in this period include:

• resetting sites for reuse in the next academic year, 2012-13
• creating an archive of last year's sites for access for resits, resubmissions and courses continuing to later this calendar year (eg taught Master's courses)
• upgrading the underlying hardware
